  1. Decide whether to cut body fat & go into a calorie deficit or whether you need to gain muscle and go into a calorie surplus - Be honest with yourself here, if you're the type of guy that doesn't hold much muscle and is pretty skinny then gaining weight, getting calories in is going to be a good idea. But if you're the guy that holds quite a bit of fat and needs to drop body fat before gaining some muscle then look to go into a calorie deficit.
  2. Stop your bro split - Seriously if you're wondering why you may not be getting stronger or changing body shape this could be why. Increase your training frequency by training each body part twice a week, by doing this we get two times per week where we can train the muscle and look to progress our lifts instead of one. Recovery is often better also as you are not destroying the muscle each session.
  3. Train your compounds more - Sounds so simple right but if your gym session JUST involves chest flys, some tricep pushdowns and bicep curls you're missing out on some serious gains. Getting STRONG on your compound lifts across ALL rep ranges is the BEST way to grow muscle. We can increase training volume pretty easily with compound movements which can lead to potential muscle growth. 

My methods might seem simple.

But I promise you, simple works best, unlike this fancy stuff you've probably got from the internet.

It’s just that they don’t hit the mainstream as they’re not designed to make you part with any cash.

They can all be done completely FREE.

Once I started using these simple, but massively overlooked methods with my own clients, the results were staggering.



Before I came to Jack there was many things I tried and miserably failed with. I would look on social media and believe everything on there was gospel.. My diet would change from week to week with no structure.

1. Low carbs was best for me
2. Protein and veg
3. No fat as fat is bad
4. Eat every 3hrs

My training was just as bad. Again I believed the hype that was splashed all over social platforms. I am even guilty of purchasing some plans off of some insta “famous” people. They were so awful and generic..

Such basic rubbish that beginners would struggle to see changes off.
